User Training on fuel rod design analysis with CARO-E3 using statistical methods.
Content:
The training consists of:
Theoretical part:
General aspects of fuel rod design analyses
Mechanisms to be considered during normal operation and hot channel occurrences
Criteria applied within fuel rod design analyses
Statistical fuel rod design methodology
Practical part (based on a current reactor cycle or generic studies)
Handling of interface data
CARO-E3 input preparation and output interpretation
Interpretation of the results (assessment)
The contents, the format and the duration are adapted according to the customer request and needs.
The course materials are based on the most up-to-date world-wide Framatome know-how to provide to our attendees the highest quality on the technical content of our courses.
The teaching material includes interactive PowerPoint presentations and hands-on exercises. The training can also comprise exercises on simulator.
The instructors comes from the Framatome GmbH Fuel Engineering site. Their knowledge is based on years of experience in engineering service activities, as well as on the specific competences necessary for the training.
